Was the emergency broadcast system turned off with the 14.3 update?

If you are unsure about the credibility of Apple during this time check it yourself to see if the option is indeed there.
- Go to Settings > Notifications.
- Scroll to the very bottom of the screen.
- Under Government Alerts, turn the type of alert on or off.*

Was it turned off? I am debating if I need to update my phone. I'd like to if it isn't turned off.
Not that it matters as much anymore, but not it was not turned off, it would not be legal to do so.
How are you gonna tell some one what they did or didn’t get on their phone. You must work for Apple
I have (2) iPhones on (2) different carriers one of which is First Net which is Law Enforcement...I got NO EMS and my husband did in his Samsung. iPhone is playing games my friend.
I updated my IOS to 14 and lost my EMS option for notifications. What the.....? Apple better fix this and update us again!
Then you should contact someone and report Sprint for not pushing the alert to your iPhone.
If you lost the options it means wherever you are at they must be permanently set ON and you don't have the option to turn them OFF. It is illegal in almost all countries to not include it.
