Locked out of Appstore

Hi. When I got my Mac several years ago I created a user ID. I already had an iPhone, but didn't know enough to use the same ID I'd already created. Long story short, about six months ago I took some advice to "start over" with a new ID. I'd first signed out of it on the Mac, but unfortunately forgot to sign out on my phone. Now most of the apps on my phone won't work, I can't access the Appstore at all & I'm constantly being asked to sign in, yet when I do, the password isn't correct. And though I can create a new ID on my Mac (had to, to be able to post questions on here) I still don't have access to the Appstore & iCloud (Mac as well as phone). I tried doing a Family Share with the two ID's & it didn't work.

I understand & appreciate Apples security features, but from what I've read I'm not the only customer with this issue. Does anyone know if theres anything I can do to unlock the ID on my phone? It will not take the correct password that I enter. I've tried "forgot password" and every conceivable workaround, and nothing has helped. It's an IPhone 6S Plus, if that matters.

Thank you

iPhone 6s Plus, iOS 11

If you are the original owner, contact Apple. Apple can remove the ID  if provided the required paperwork. Either take the device, the original purchase receipt with the serial number, and a photo ID to the nearest Apple Store (if it has reopened)

That was one of the first things I tried six months ago & it did not work. I've tried the forgot password & gotten nowhere. Whenever I try to sign in, the old ID is already filled in & I'm unable to delete it no matter what I do. It's just constantly popping up & asking for a password, which it will not take. I already tried adding that old ID to a new ID account, as well, with that (deleted accounts) password. That didn't work either. I also tried setting my phone back to factory settings.....it won't without the ID.

I'd buy a new phone, but I'm disabled and poor, lol. It shouldn't be this difficult to solve this problem. Apples great, but when their own customers are locked out, they definitely created a monster.

I was hoping to get back to you with good news, but three Apple support people later & my phone is still f*cked up & I'm beyond frustrated. I created the original problem, but this should not be so difficult to fix. I went to an Apple store 1 1/2 hrs away & a tech spent 45 minutes changing my password & trying to sign in. He finally advised me to call Apple & ask for a senior advisor because my phone kept saying "person not found", even though I received e-mail confirmation of the pw changes. I then spent almost 2 hours on the phone & did everything they advised, updating my phone from my mac, because the phone won't (did it in recovery mode) then restored my phone from the iTunes back-up. Even with the update my phone will not take the password, so not a ****** thing has changed. At this point I will never buy another Apple product again, or rave about them like I have for years. I'm sorry if this sounds like I'm upset with you, but I'm just so disgusted about this.
