I have received multiple mails saying credit has been added to my Apple ID but my balance say $0. Are these mails legitimate?

Why would you get credit? No such promotion.

My thoughts exactly but the address is legitimate as far as i can tell (not phishing)
Addresses can be spoofed easily. Anyone can send emails using an arbitrary From-address. You shouldn’t look at the From-address as an indicator of legitimacy.
