I would like to trade a brand new unopened iPhone XR the colour is blue with a 64GB for a iPhone 12 what will the price be, as the site only takes into account a phone that’s been used?

The trade value is not dependent on the model being used or new. If the XR was purchased within the last 14 days, it can be returned for full refund. If it was purchased longer than that, the trade is what is shown on Apple's website.
