How to reply to Instagram DMs with iPhone SE 2nd gen?

Hello Community!!

I use instagram quite frecuently to stay in touch with my friends back home and it seriously frustrates me how I'm the only one who's unable to reply to specific dms like my friends do with their other smartphones. I noticed that this may be because I have an iPhone SE 2nd gen with no Force touch.

Is there a way around this?

I can't find any info. about this on the web either.
