Touch ID not working after latest update macOS Big Sur

I am hainvg issue with Touch ID after the latest update.

When I tired to reregister the Touch ID it asked for the Mac password then after when I clk on the add button it is not responding. Pls help me how we can sort this out?

Issues with Touch ID after Big Sur upgrade Hi there. I just updated my MacBook Pro to the latest version of Big Sur. I’m now having issues with Touch ID. When I go to the Touch ID in preferences and check the box “to unlock Mac” it checks the box and asks for my password. However, when I exit out and return to that same menu the option is unchecked. Do a SMC Reset and try again.
