Apple update id settings

I have a new ipad i set up yesterday. However there is still a red one dot by the settings wheel that i need to update my Apple id settings. When i hit it, it says to sign in again but nothing happens when i do.

Try this workaround:

Sign out from your Apple ID
Restart your iPhone
Sign back in to your Apple ID.
