How do I access my photos if new update made iPhoto not compatible?
MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15
iPhoto was discontinued in 2015 and replaced by the "Photos" app. Hold down the option key while starting Photos and it will give you the option of selecting your iPhotos library and will then convert it for Photos.
