Accessing my Apple Account

I recently got a new phone and attempted to sign into my Apple ID, but the phone asked for me to enter my old phone number for the two factor authentication even though I knew my password. And I no longer have the ole number that they wanted to send the verification code to. I called Apple support and they walked me through the process and asked me to go to I forgot.Apple.com but I still wasn’t Apple to provide the old credit card to verify it’s me. So I’m currently waiting for a update on how to access my account but it stated that the info would be sent to my iCloud account attached to the Apple ID I can’t access so what do I do other than wait? Is there a number or some way around this it’s been weeks and they act as if they can’t help. And I have my Apple Music and Apple TV and other things attached to it and I’m still paying. Any suggestions ???

See if anything here helps.  If necessary, you can use account recovery as explained in the link at bottom of the article.
