I have a MacBook Pro, 2019. Have seen on community posts since Catalina that the issue with the MacBook Pro speaker popping on the right is software related. Mine started popping with Catalina and is still popping with Big Sur. It appears maybe not SW related but a decline in quality of speakers - HW issue. Can anyone confirm?

I have the same issue on a 2019 MBP16, Big Sur 11.2.
Can someone knowledgeable chime in? It is becoming a rather annoying issue as it interrupts online meetings and I have to force kill coreaudiod, which is then preventing the video conference software to use the speakers and I have to disconnect and reconnect.
Not helpful. I am not sure you even read the problem I am having.
