AppleCare and AIG service with stolen iPhone
my phone was stolen and now I am without a phone and Apple says AIG will send me a new phone and AIG says the new phone will come from Apple. meanwhile I don't have a phone

WHATEVER YOU DO CHANGE YOUR INSURANCE FROM APPLE CARE TO YOUR CELL PHONE CARRIERS INSURANCE!!! APPLE CARE AND ASSURANT/AIG ARE CORRUPT AND ABUSIVE AND NEGLIGENT OF CLAIMS!!!! DO NOT USE THIS INSURANCE!!!!
Update: got my phone on 6/14/2021.
I got the exact issue. I'll be complaining very soon to the top of the chain command. I'm also traveling starting tomorrow and I don't have a phone after 7 days of waiting for my replacement.
Apple doesn't issue or handle insurance claims, that is done by AIG.
So what you are saying is Apple should just go ahead and send you a replacement phone and then AIG should follow up with processing the claim? Is that it?

Exact same thing they said to me and then denied the claim.
i claim stolen iphone, i got case id **** 0n 10-23-2021, but now try to check my claim status it give error and also I didn't got any reply that date.

It happens with me as well, AIG is moving me around. I am waiting for over a month for an replacement.
It’s an issue with AIG. They order the replacement directy thru Apple but are notorious for it not properly going thru. Apple can’t do anything because they didnt get anything from AIG.
Just been through **** and back between AIG and Apple after lost phone. Apple has got to be more transparent about WHO will be handling the claim. AIG is a sub-par partner , terrible service.
