Unable to backup and sync my iPhone SE 2020 to my iMac
My SE 2020 iPhone is unable to backup or sync with my iMac. I have reviewed all of the system requirements and both of my devices are up to date with iTunes and High Sierra OS and current iOS. When connected with a usb cable and using iTunes the iTunes app doesn't recognize my device at all. The summary does not appear to be able to select my device. Why does it not recognize that the phone is connected? The phone is charging from the drive. I read last summer in the support community that multiple people experienced this problem but none indicated a solution to the problem. Is there a troubleshooting procedure anyone can provide?
