After upgrading to Ventura successfully, my version still shows Monterey 12.6.2 I went through the entire upgrade process to Ventura. There were no error messages and it eventually rebooted and is working. But the version number still read Monterey. Is this just a bug in the Mac About page or did I not upgrade? Btw, I only upgraded the OS and not Safari. Does Apple force you to upgrade Safari too?

How to downgrade to MacOS Monterey? Weirdly, this felt to me a most buggy MacOS I have ever used in my life. I have battery start dropping very quickly everyday, and battery health was plummeted as well. Many apps have weird bugs and the Mac have performance that was at least 10% slower than the last OS. Is Apple going to fix this quickly because I want to downgrade to Monterey but just have no idea how to get started on doing so, and so I hope Apple can fix MacOS Ventura quickly. 3/10 for MacOS Ventura for now. Warranty has no impact on any update. Only the year of your Mac. If is is too old the OS cannot be loaded.
