How can I get rid of the green dot. Iphone 12 green dot is constantly on when phone is on home screen. I have turned off access to camera to all apps. I've turned the phone off and on again. Dot is still there. Any suggestions?

I have the exact same issue, closed all apps, denied camera and microphone access to all apps, restarted phone, and still there.. apple technical support couldn’t seem to help either. No apps show up when control center is open either. I can’t help but feel like I’m being watched or listened to every day. Apple please fix this.

The green dot indicates that either the camera or the camera and the microphone are being used by an app: Status icons and symbols on your iPhone
You did a great job going through steps to turn off all camera access from your apps, and restarting the device. Did you also try closing out of all the apps on your iPhone? Here's how you can check: How to force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

My iphone 12 has the green dot on constantly on the home screen. No apps have permission to access the camera, nor do any appear as having accessed recently in the control center. The dot is only there on home screen, not when any app is open. Help
