system preferences > Network

turn on Wi-Fi.

it should ask you to select a network (from those available at that location) and provide the network password.

When I first turned on the power, the computer asked if i wanted to connect to internet. I replied "later".

So now that the home page is up, and I try to connect, I get a message saying "I can't create an Apple ID because I am not connected to the internet!"

What do I do next?
