I used migration assistant to transfer from a 2019 Macbook Pro to a 2020 model and everything went according to advertisement. However, the new Mac now won't open files, claiming I don't have permission. Get Info on each file shows I have read and write privileges. Solution?
MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15
I tried all the usual fixes. I even tried repairing permissions at root level. Reinstalling 10.15 didn't help either. Upgrade to OS11.1 finally fixed it.
