[Mac OS Big Sur] Spontaneously opening applications in sleep mode

Some times Mac OS spontaneously opens applications like Mail, Contact, ... .

It happens when laptop is closed in sleeping mode.

For example:

I have only two applications opens like Safari, Chrome.

I close my laptop and it switches to sleep mode.

When I open my laptop I have some extra open applications.

Why Big Sure spontaneously opens applications in sleeping mode and how to fix it?

We understand you have some questions about your Mac automatically launching apps when it wakes from sleep, and we'd like to help.

By chance, do these apps have "Open at Login" enabled? If so, they'll automatically launch each time you sign into your user account. We have more information here:

Hi raina_b22,

Actually, my Mac automatically launching apps while laptop lid is closed.

It happens sometimes. Not always. Several times a month.

I don’t sign out of my laptop, I just close the lid.

When my Mac OS wakes from sleep mode I see already running apps.

Sometimes I have several running apps that I haven't start before.

I suspect that apps launching when I close laptop lid.

One time I heard a sound from my laptop with closed lid. Half an hour later I opened laptop lid and I noticed that Mail app, Contacts app launched by themselves.

My "Open at Login" config is:

So Mail app, Contacts app aren't in the login item list.

Can closing the laptop lid launch an application on my Mac OS?

Hi

I removed InfiniteHD app.

Since then, no application has launched by itself while I closed my laptop lid.

So, maybe it solved the problem.
