M1 Macbook Pro External Display Resets Refresh Rate After Sleep

I'm having a refresh rate issue that I can't pinpoint, so if there would be some help I'd really appreciate it. I have an M1 Macbook pro connected to a Viotek 34 inch ultrawide 100hz using a Caldigit TS3 Plus Dock. Pretty much, the display settings in the system preferences has the refresh rate flipped. So when it is set to the default 100hz according to the "default for display" setting, it is actually refreshing at 60hz. Then when I switch it to 60hz it actually refreshes at 100hz. Strangely, every time after waking the monitor from sleep, the refresh rate switches to 60hz on the same 60hz setting. In order to fix it, I have to change it to 100hz (which maintains the 60hz actual refresh) then change it back to 60hz (which then refreshes at 100hz).

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.1
