iPhone 11 pro camera focus broken after mounting on handlebar

I'm an iOS developer working on a map based application. Aside from my daily use of the iphone as a navigation device, I also test the app that I'm working on which uses requires me to test the iphone on a mount on my motorcycle.

I've seen it's a knows issue by now - it happens to many people in the same circumstances. Unfortunately my warranty just passed about a month or two before I've faces this issue.

Whats up with that? how can I fix this issue and make sure it won't happen again in the future? I need to be able to use it on a motorcycle mount - this is the way I commute. Is this something I need to live with now?

Also - is this something that happens on iPhone 12 devices as well?
