Battery drain on Ipad Air 4 watching AppleTV+

I have just subscribed to the AppleTV+ and have been watching it on my IPad Air 4. I realised that the app drained 90% of my battery in under 5 hours or so. Is the AppleTV+ app not optimised for iOS?

I wonder if it tries to keep searching for location every few second, that will definitely kill battery especially if I am indoors.

Battery draining issue over YouTube app Battery draining much faster when using YouTube app in iPhone 14 (New iPhone 14 with ios 16.5.1). When using other platforms like Netflix and Amazon Prime for the same period as youtube, there is no issue of excessive battery consumption. Even on saved videos, i have tested. Note - All tips and tricks of battery saving have been tried and done. No further suggestions are needed. Want a target-specific solution from Apple (only YouTube). If not, i have to believe that the iPhone 14 (ios) <= android phone of the past.

Battery Life If anyone here uses ipad air 4, then can you tell me how much battery life do you guys get while using video streaming services (Netflix/YouTube/Prime/etc) most of the time?
