Email Conversation Threading

When going INTO and email, the conversation starts with the OLDEST email in the conversation first. Prior to last week, it was being viewed by the NEWEST email in the conversation first. Now the NEWEST message is at the bottom of the screen not the top. This occurs in both Outlook and Gmail. I have my Mail Set, under Settings, as "Most Recent Message on Top". Turning this off or on does nothing. Turning the other options - "Organize by Thread", "Collapse Read Messages", "Complete Threads" does nothing.

Hello matthewfromlewisville and welcome to Apple Support Communities. It appears you are having some difficulty with the order of threaded email messages.


Is this also threading backwards with your iCloud email account?


There is little in the way of options for troubleshooting individual account issues such as this in iOS. Your best option is going to be to delete and re-add those accounts and see if that changes the threading.
