"identityservicesd wants to use the 'login' keychain" keeps popping up

This and similar messages. No password seems to work but cancel doesn't cancel it either. Continual. Saw comment in old thread (can't seem to reply to it now) about try to lock and unlock keychain. But when I try to unlock my keychain, I just get the whirling beachball and it keeps going. I have to force quit the keychain application. Any ideas?

This happened about a month ago too so I had to create a new login keychain (using these instructions: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT202860). But I haven't changed my mac login password since then so I don't know why it is happening. Is it OK to provide the password for accountsd and identityservicesd? Finding lots of different info online. I don't want to create another keychain because I don't want the hassle of resetting ALL of my passwords again.

Keychain password requests Since I upgraded to Monterey, every few minutes I get a pop-up requesting my keychain password. I haven't ever changed my login password or my keychain password, which are different passwords. How can I get this to stop?

<unknown> application password for account Launch Services Trusted Signature Database The above info appears under the Local Items Keychains list, and the Access group for this item is com.apple.LaunchServices.TrustedSignature. Don't know what this is. Cannot delete it and keep getting a window stating Keychain Access wants to use the "local items" keychain. I type my password and it asks for another password that I don't have. Because of this am unable to close the lock.In fact it says that the local items keychain cannot be locked. How do I go abt locking this, and is it safe to leave this unlocked? As I am not a techie --more like a computer dummy-- wd appreciate simple answer in laymen's terms that I can understand. Thank you
