I signed out from Icloud the files about 1 TB was stored on local computer The files were gone from my desktop. When i signed in again I put those files by drag and drop in the icloud place but I see my desktops and documents are not syncing between my macs . Despite i put the folders back mac is tyring to upload download again. Is there a way to fix it.

Thanks for the reply No that s not the problem The problem is when you sing out of your apple id and sign in, your documents are stored in icloud archive but when you put them back to icloud drive Macos does not understand that all files are there and tries to download them again. That s the case
