Losing signal to Onkyo AV and TV

I have finally found a solution to this issue, just in case others are grappling with the same problem.

Solution:

Get the ultra-high throughput 4K certified Belkin cables (cable IN and cable OUT).

Both HDMI cables from the AppleTV into the Onkyo AV and the able out to the TV must be the Belkin 4K certified.

AMZN sells it as well.

Signal is now steady and stable.

Apple TV 4K with Sony Bravia X800H problems I have my Apple TV connected directly to my Sony Bravia X800H TV with a high speed HDMI cable. This is a new TV to replace an older Sony TV. The Apple TV worked fine with the older one, but now doesn't seem to work well with the new one. It seems I have to press the home button several times to wake the Apple TV and get the TV to read the signal. Then, when I select a movie to play from my collection, the TV intermittently loses the Apple TV signal. I have to go back to the input select on the TV, and select HDMI 2 again. It's as if the signal gets dropped if the Apple TV has to switch from SDR content to HDR content.

Connection issue between Apple TV 4K and Sony XBR-65X900F TV I recently upgraded my AV receiver and found that my Apple TV 4K was no longer connecting to my Sony XBR-65X900F TV (cable TV and Blu-ray worked fine). To troubleshoot, I eliminated the AV receiver and connected the Apple TV 4K directly to the XBR-65X900F - still no signal. When I connect the Apple TV 4K to an older Sony TV, the combination works fine. I checked the Apple TV 4K for firmware updates and found that it was up to date - tvOS 13.4.8 (17M61). I performed the “Reset and Update” option. I updated the XBR-65X900F firmware. Taking these steps did not make a difference. I did note that when I push the “Input” button on my XBR-65X900F remote, the TV recognizes that an Apple TV device is connected to the HDMI (ARC) port, so there is some communication taking place. When I select that HDMI port, the TV continues to display the message that it is getting no signal. Anybody have any ideas? Are there any known firmware conflicts between the two?

Apple TV 4K HDMI to Onkyo TX-NR6050 Not Working My Apple TV 4K connects via HDMI to a Sony A80CJ TV and the audio is output via HDMI eARC to an Onkyo TX-NR6050 receiver and 7.1 surround speakers. However, when I try to connect the Apple TV to the Onkyo via HDMI, I get at best a blue screen at worst the TV says there is no input. I have tried changing the HDMI input settings on the Onkyo to "4K Enhanced" as well as "4K Standard" and "8K standard" and "8K enhanced". Other inputs including a Roku and BD-DVD player work well connected via HDMI through the Onkyo. Has anyone successfully the Onkyo TX-NR6050 with the Apple TV? Is there a hidden setting that I have missed? Thanks for any suggestions.
