Fans not running automatically

I have noticed that my MacBook fans are not running while I can feel the notebook getting hotter. I have Macs Fan Control installed and this is how it looks. Is it normal that the fans are at 0?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.1

The temperatures shown in Macs Fan Control are within normal operating range so it may not be necessary for the fans to be running at this time. Newer Macs will feel much hotter than older Apple laptops. If you feel there may be a problem with the cooling system, then run the Apple Diagnostics. I don't think you have any cooling system issues with this laptop by what you have posted here.

You do not say what exact Mac this is ...

You do not say what exact macOS you are currently running...

Why third party software to over ride a basic function of the macOS (?) This in itself may cause interference.

The fans are always running, they idle at 2000rpm and ramp up to 6000rpm under extreme demand.

Keep your Mac notebook within acceptable operating temperatures

The computer will get warm in usage, and monitor its own temperature

For thermal management issues you can reset SMC http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3964
