Muted apps

If I’m playing a game then go answer a text and come back to the game it’s muted. All games and every single time. I’ve checked for updates, I’ve restarted and now I’m frustrated. I’ve had my phone for 2 months :( anyone having this problem?

iPad muted for games I have ios13. At some point games became muted. All solutions I can find online are years old. I have no physical mute button, and cannot pull up a start menu to select the mute, I cannot select the scroll for screen lock. i can play YouTube music, I have made sure my sound is on, I have made sure app’s sound Is up. No sound in apps all volume up iPhone 13 Pro Max. I have very little sound coming out my volume in settings and in game is up all the way and silent mode is off. Bluetooth is off. What else can I check?

Mute on start Recently my iPhone 12 is starting all apps with videos on mute. I have to turn up the sound. I have noticed this with YouTube, SiriusXM, Twitter... How do I get it to keep the sound level I set for apps generally like before?
