Your suggestion worked very well. The .Mov files were easily copied from the archive container in Finder. The capture was truncated so I still need to locate and capture the remaining video from the Mini-DV tape. Thank you very much.

Right click on a gray one and select open package contents. Don't change anything but see what's going on. For some media you can simply extract it from the bundle.
