Quicktime Player keyboard shortcuts for Movie playback gestures

Are there Quicktime Player keyboard shortcuts for Movie playback gestures (navigating within a song or video using my keyboard)? Ex. With VLC player, I can map hotkeys to jump forward or backward within a song/video. I see from the article below that I can do it with the Magic Mouse, but I was wondering if I could do it with my keyboard (much easier to practice guitar this way):
