iphone keeps asking for exchange password

My work account was deleted when I left. Now iphone keeps asking for the password for my defunct work email account.

Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities.


We understand not wanting to be prompted for a password of an account that doesn’t exist any longer. 


There are a few places you can check to see where the account information is appearing, and you can delete it.

1 Go to Settings > General > Profiles & Device Management. If you delete a profile, all of the settings, apps, and data associated with the profile are also deleted. See Install or remove configuration profiles on iPhone for more information.

2 Go to Settings > Mail > Accounts and if you see the Exchange email address still appearing, delete it.
