Vertical bar like watermark in display - Macbook Pro

I see a vertical bar in my MacBook Pro screen display like a water mark specifically when setting few wallpapers given by apple. I tried calling Apple support and they asked to run a diagnostics but that did not help much. I have been asked to visit a service centre in person for further support.

Can anybody please help if you have seen the issue similar to the attached image and provide your suggestions? It would be much appreciated if you could share any fixes that I can use and continue to work until I reach the service centre :)

I don't see anything in the picture. If it is a screenshot taken by macOS, then it means the issue is with the built-in display which will need to be repaired by Apple or an AASP. You can confirm this diagnosis by moving the screenshot to a different position on the screen to see if the line moves with it. Or you can connect an external display and enable "mirroring" to see if the line also appears on the external display. If the line only appears on the built-in display when the displays are mirrored, then it confirms the diagnosis.

Vertical bars at the edges of the display (not in the center of the field) suggest resolution or under scan/overscan issues.

If you could look at the left side closely, you can see a vertical bar running from top to bottom of the screen like a watermark. I have taken this picture through my phone and as you said I tried to move the wallpapers or just dragging the mouse. However the vertical bar remains at the same place.

Interestingly, The vertical bar is not appearing all the times and is now becoming intermittent and I'm worried with these kind of behaviours with the new laptop. Anyway I'm planning to take the laptop to AASP but just wanted to discuss with the community to see if any fixes available from a software perspective.
