Delete Apps in Settings

There is a setting on iPhone XR where "delete apps" is turned off. I'm unable to find that setting to turn it back on. I'm unable to delete apps that I no longer use.

iPhone XR, iOS 14

Hi NYCats,

We understand you're trying to delete applications from your device. We're happy to help.

You can find the steps to delete applications from your device here: How to delete apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

If you have restrictions enabled on your device that prevent applications from being deleted, you'll need to navigate to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > iTunes & App Store Purchases, and set "Deleting Apps" to "Allow" first.

We hope this helps. Take care!
