IPad storage autonomously increasing

My iPad storage keeps increasing particularly the ‘Other’ category. How can I remove this without restoring my iPad to factory settings? I’ve tried the general reset but that didn’t work and I can’t use a back up as there is not enough storage on the iPad to restore the back up.

Hello Litatolvy,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you're having an issue with 'Other' storage increasing on your iPad. We're happy to help.

Is the iPad this is occurring on updated to iOS 13.6.1 or later? If not, we recommend creating a backup and updating the iOS as this issue was addressed with an update. You can view the information here: Clear Other storage on your iPhone or iPad

If needed, the article here can help you create a backup to iCloud or iTunes prior to updating: How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Should you be unable to update wirelessly, we recommend using the assistance of a computer: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch the section "Update your device using your computer" has the steps.
