Hi all
i have a iwatch 6 and it’s doesn’t seem to go dark when my wrist is lowered. It also keeps freezing and I have to hard reset it. On my previous iwatch I was also able to cover the screen with my palm and it would go dark? Are these features not available with the version 6?

Apple Watch Series 6 has "Always On" setting turned ON by default so the display will always be ON even when your wrist/hand is lowered. Use this guide to turn the setting OFF. Use the Always On feature with your Apple Watch - Apple Support

Cover to Mute is used for silencing notifications when they happen.
When the option is enabled, Cover to Mute automatically places your watch into Silent Mode when you cover the display for at least 3 seconds immediately upon receiving an alert.
I do not think Cover to Mute was designed to dim the watch screen ever...
