Deleting apps

I can't delete apps on my iPhone. There is only option to share.

Go to Settings/Screen Time/Content & Privacy Restrictions - iTunes & App Store Purchases - and changing Deleting Apps to Allow.

This does not work, I only get a share option. No delete comes up Why is there no way to delete an app from the phone any longer. I don’t want to rely on filling my phone up and then have to ‘hope’ the right unused apps are deleted automatically
