my Map app is not updating my home location?

I have recently moved about 30 minutes north of where I used to live. I saved my address as "home" in my contacts for my old address when I originally moved in to that place. now, I have moved elsewhere, and changed my contact info to a new "home" address, and have erased the old address.

for whatever reason.. whenever I open my maps app, it instantly opens up my old home address. whenever I leave work it shows me "eta to home".. but it's the wrong home address.. and whenever I am at my NEW house, and I search for directions somewhere or search for things near by... it does it as if I am still at my old address!

the old address is completed removed and unsaved from my contact list. so I am not sure how it even remembers that. any tips would be great. Thanks!

Hi Bryanisagator,

We see you've moved, however Apple Maps still pulls up your old address, is that correct? Good job on making sure that your contact information is updated, and we're glad to provide assistance.

Change, add, or remove Apple ID payment methods -- If you’ve received a new payment method with your updated home address, edit the current one to reflect this change. See if Maps recognizes your new location now.

Manage and delete contacts on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch -- If the issue continues, make sure that there aren’t any duplicate contacts for you. Then, delete your contact card any any duplicates you may have found. Then, restart your iPhone, and add your contact information again. See if Maps is able to locate your current home.
