Wireless charging not turning off automatically once fully charged

I recently purchased a Mophie wireless charging pad for my iPhone 12 and I noticed that when my phone reaches 100%, it still says it’s charging and it did not turn off. I was told when I bought it that it stops charging once your phone is fully charged but I have not experienced that.

I recently bought a 3 in 1 mophie wireless charging pad from Apple store, it seems to only charge my phone when I turn off battery optimise setting. I know it’s not the case as whether the case is on or not it is the same result, phone won’t charge until I change the setting. I do not need to change any battery settings when using my wireless charging pad in my car. Same case on phone in both situations

Wireless charging for my Iphone 13 while in my 2023 GMC truck My iphone 13 will not charge in my 2023 GMC while it is on the wireless charging pad although if i take the case /cover off it will charge. I never had this problem with my Iphone 8.

Your iPhone will indicate it’s charging when it’s attached to a charger. That will be true regardless of how much current, if any, is being transmitted.
