My mail stop outgoing messages after I updated to MacOs Big Sur 11.1
I receive emails but can not sent emails on my MacBookPro. However, the mail on my iPad and iPhone works perfectly alright.

Use Connection Doctor in Mail on Mac - Apple Support
To resolve issues continue, deleteing the email account off the Mac and simply add it back in
