How to get out of a Mac Installer loop:

After being more than an hour trying to get out of the loop (I shut it down/restart it and when I turned it on it began installing again to tell me to restart again or shut down because there was an error) and looking for answers on the internet and not finding anything, I finally solved it and got out of it. So this is what you need to do:

  1. Press down the power button to shut down the computer.
  2. Turn it back on and immediately click the “option” key.
  3. it will show you two options, the first says: “Mac installer”, the second one says “Mac”. Obviously click on Mac.
  4. Done.

Yep. That easy, you’re welcome. My Mac Book Pro is the one of 2012 and it’s 15”.
