Connectivity problems after updating to IOS 14.3

I have a iphone 8 and I updated to IOS 14.3 some weeks ago. Since then it has been impossible to connect to many Apps such as whatsApp. I get messages that my phone is not connected to the internet. even though the phone indicates i am connected to wifi or 4G. Connecting to email servers is a better but patchy. I tried everything from factory reset to having my phone tested at a Genius bar. According to the latter, the hardware is OK. Their only suggestion was to swap the phone for a new SE at a cost of € 470..

Is there anyone out there that has had the sames issues? And found a solution ??

Thanks

John

Check your WiFi Router / Modem for --> Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points ...

Connecting to Wifi is the first part and then getting connected to the Internet is the second

  1. If you connect to a Wifi, doesn't necessarily mean you are connected to the internet. If you are not connected to wifi could be a problem of iPhone settings or Router/Modem Settings
  2. If you are not connected to the internet is the sole issue of Router / Modem Settings. Contact your ISP immediately

For your Internet connection.

  • Over Cellular: contact your Carrier (Cellular Service Provider). The agency who issued the SIM to you
  • Over WiFI: Contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider), the agency who provided the Internet Service on your Modem/Router to you

However --> Connect iPhone to the Internet - Apple Support
