BT mobile number constant engaged tone

My bt mobile phone is sending out a engaged tone when dialled from my BT landline, my mobile phone and number is on a BT contract, but when I dialled my mobile number front land line the engaged tone kicks in and I get a message on my mobile, the message says missed call but my phone didn’t ring, can anyone help oh by the way I have an Apple iphone 11 which i only had December 2020
