My iphone 12 max mutes the incoming caller

How do i stop the iphone 12 max muting my incoming calls. I spent days trying to find out how to fix it but no fix. Even apple support has no idea. My wifes iphone 12 does the same thing. I can call out to other phones but i cannot recieve a phone call... only if i have the phone open, ready and unlocked.

im losing money from the new apple technology.

i asked apple support to help me... they say backup then restore the phone... I did this... now phone is stuck on Apple loop of death. $2500 piece of business destorying garbage. I now have gone back to my iphone 8 and it still works fine.

How do i fix this iphone 12 max?

If you have distorted Sound issue on your iPhone --> If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad

If you are not able to hear the other person, click this...>If you can't hear a person on a call or voicemail or if the sound isn't ...

If you only hear through speaker phone mode --> If your iPhone is stuck in headphone mode - Apple Support

If the other person is not able to listen to you then please click this--> If the microphones on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch aren't ...

If the above options do not mitigate the issues then Contact your carrier and then Contact Apple Support

none of the above sorry... i tried all the options you mentioned... this is a new problem with iphone 12 max pro

it happened since the latest 14.3 software update.

iphone 12 is piece of expensive garbage.
