Macbook Lockscreen

So i’m trying to change my macbook lock screen wallpaper. For some reason my lockscreen and home screen do not connect anymore. I have the home screen that i want but my lockscreen has changed to a random image that i don’t like and i can’t seem to change it. Whenever i search it up it’s just talking about screen savers or the lockscreen profile image but i’m trying to change the actual wallpaper when you turn your laptop it. I’ve tried everything but i can’t figure it out.

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities. We understand that you're wanting to change the image that appears on the Lock Screen of your Mac; however, you're only finding information on how to change the desktop image, user photo or screen saver. The reason you're only finding information about these options is because that's it, there is no option to change the Lock Screen image.
