Good Morning,
My husband needs an iPod for work but i've heard the classic is no longer supported by iTunes. He is not allowed the touch because it can download apps so his work has stated employees can not have them on the work site.
So what can he use? The shuffle is no good because he can't see the song list.
Advice please?

it is supported, i use it.
iTunes is backwards compatible with previously released devices, however iPod classic is no longer actively supported in terms of new features and firmware, and there are reduced options for service and repair. So strange, iTunes can see it, and when i looked up on here why that would happen there was a comment about it being unsupported?
Could that maybe a generation thing? Which generation is yours?
