I can’t feel my MacBook Pro trackpad click

Recently, my trackpad has randomly stopped giving the tactile feedback that clicks are happening. This has happened a few times now and usually pressing shift+control+command+power off works to resolve the issue (a solution I found on another post). However, this time it hasn't worked. I can still click and move the cursor, but it just doesn't feel right without the click. If someone has some tips they would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Micaylaj01,

Thank you for post in Apple Support Communities. From our understanding, when you are using the trackpad on your MacBook Pro, you are not getting any feedback, do we have that right? You can confirm the settings is correct if you go to System Preferences > Trackpad. You'll want to make sure "silent clicking" isn't turned on and that "force clock and haptic feedback" is turned on.

Check out the section titled " Change Trackpad settings" in this article: How to use the Force Touch trackpad.

Hope that helps!
