DND is NOT turned on and the only options I have under it are either
Always
or
While iPhone is locked
Once again DND is not on and my phone will not ring while locked and this is causing me to miss important phone calls. I've considered resetting the phone but this seems assine to do when I never set this feature and yes, I have the physical switched toggled to allow sounds. I get text sounds and other notifications, just not phone calls.

We'd first like to ask if your iPhone isn't ringing for all incoming calls or possibly calls from unknown callers.
If just from unknown callers, we'd like for you the confirm if the feature to silence unknown callers is enabled. You can check that under Settings > Phone > Silence Unknown Callers.
We'd also like to ask if you have Screen Time enabled. Some restrictions can cause phone calls to be limited.
You can find that under Settings > Screen Time.
