How do I stop my Macbook keyboard from sounding out every single letter when the sound is on and I am typing?

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!


We understand that you'd like to disable the keyboard from sounding out every letter. It sounds like you have Spoken Content enabled. You can go to the Apple Menu > System Preferences > Accessibility > Speak typing feedback > Options > Echo Characters and disable Echo Characters.
