I got my iPhone 12 Pro Max last December 28 and I am really happy using it. However, I noticed that it is idle-draining particularly quick tonight. I charge using my 5W charger from my iPhone XR and had never had these problems before. I am never a heavy user and that is why I notice all of these things. Has anyone been having the same experience?

Start with the standard steps for short battery life:
1) Have you tried a restart? If not, do it now.
2) Go to Settings > Battery > BATTERY USAGE BY APP to see the apps that are consuming your battery.
3) Check “Battery Health” in the link:

@MrBill3 Yes, I did restart my phone after it reached the 93% mark. When I restarted, the battery level suddenly went up to 98% but is then quickly draining on idle. I don't use my phone for gaming, and I just use it for daily tasks like communicating with colleagues, friends, and family so when I checked the apps I see the usual cast of apps which includes (Instagram, Facebook, Slack, Messages, etc.) I've had this phone for just a little under 1 month so the battery health is still at 100% - the last iPhone XR that I bought in August still has 100% battery health to this day and can last more than 36 hours between charges. So I hope the battery performance of my iPhone 12 Pro Max would be as awesome as that.
