I need an Ethernet Adapter for my new MacBook Air M1 for fibre internet up to 100 Mb/sec. Can't find compatibility information on available products. Can anyone help?

Thanks for your reply. I spent a day searching for the correct product. The first of your suggestions seems to refer to Microsoft OS only, the second may be a solution.

The problem is inadequate or inaccurate description of products available for us lay people. Apparently I need a USB C, which is a USB 3 (my specs list USB 4 , possibly not available yet) and not all Thunderbolt to Ethernet adapters come with USB C, but it doesn't say. In the end I went for a Belkin product which is not a Thunderbolt (my specs list "two Thunderbolt ports") but at least specifies USB C. It's as expensive as Apple's, but that is not available here. Fingers crossed.
