iphone 12 ringer not ringing

My phone buzzes but does not ring when a call comes in, I have checked all the settings and still no ring? What to do next please.

That describes what would happen if the ring/silent switch on the left side of the phone is set to silent. See: How to put your iPhone on vibrate, ring, or silent mode - Apple Support
