Mac mini M1 minimum monitor requirements

Is there any minimum monitor requirement to connect with Mac mini M1?

If the standard monitor is used, will it impaired the text sharpness?

Currently I am using SAMSUNG 27" HDMI CR50 curve, connected to my MacBook Air 2020. I have tried to optimised it, but I am not satisfied with the text sharpness. Thus, I am thinking of getting Mac mini M1.

Thank you for your feedback, in advance.

Here is what I just found... Mac mini M1

I had connected my lower resolution monitor (1080p) on HDMI --- result was blurry text, almost unreadable annoying. Tried all solutions in forums related to disable font smoothing etc... ]

My higher resolution monitor (1440p) on usb-C (from M1) to Display port was working just fine.

Solution -- Swap and bring your lower resolution monitor to USB-C video output and use HDMI for higher res retina monitor to HDMI. Solved the problem for me...crisp text on 1080p and 1200p 24 inch monitor

Hey there Nurayaya,

We'd like to help get text to appear as clearly as possible on your external monitor.

As you have video appearing on your external monitor, we can say it works with your Mac mini.
